ADE Summit 2026

During this session we will delve into the additions to state reporting requirements and changes to some eSchoolPLUS processes for 2026-2027. This session would benefit all eSchool data entry users.

My School Info brings multiple data sources together, allowing anyone with online access to search and compare public schools and districts across Arkansas. Come learn how easy it is to navigate the system and explore the newly redesigned school and district report cards. These updates reflect Arkansas’s latest accountability system, including the first-ever publication of district letter grades. No previous experience with My School Info is required, and participants are encouraged to bring a laptop to be able to actively participate in the demonstration.

A Writing Revolution is underway in Arkansas! DESE is continuing its partnership with The Writing Revolution (TWR) for a fifth year, offering Advancing Thinking Through Writing I to K–12 educators across all content areas. This session introduces the Hochman Method—a research-based approach to strengthening student writing through content-rich instruction. Participants will explore practical strategies to elevate writing in any classroom and learn how districts can access this free, year-long professional learning opportunity.

How we lead adult learning often mirrors what happens in classrooms. This session invites participants to examine the connection between engaging meetings and engaging instruction. Using facilitation strategies grounded in collaboration and inquiry, participants will explore how to design learning experiences that foster ownership, reflection, and active participation—for both educators and students. Leave with practical tools and a renewed lens for leading learning in any setting.

Training is just the beginning. This session focuses on how schools and districts can get the most out of Writing Revolution training through intentional implementation. Participants will explore how to embed TWR strategies within HQIM, leverage AI-supported tools in the TWR digital library, and use the administrator dashboard to monitor progress and support teachers. The session also features insights from schools sharing real implementation experiences, lessons learned, and strategies for scaling writing instruction campus-wide.
