Tabitha Riendeau serves as a State Education Advisor-Curriculum and Assessment for the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), and previously held the position of State Education Advisor-Monitoring/Program Effectiveness at DESE. Riendeau brings nearly 16 years of Special Education experience and passion as an advocate for students with developmental, intellectual, or emotional disabilities. She has been a member of the Council of Chief State School Officers Assessment, Standards & Education for Students with Disabilities, National Center on Educational Outcomes, Arkansas’ PLC Coaching Group for Solution Tree – Professional Learning Communities, and Council for Exceptional Children.
