About me
Betsy Kindall has served her years in education addressing the needs of at-risk youth. As a teacher, school counselor, behavior specialist, school-based mental heath coordinator, and ALE program advisor, Dr. Kindall has developed programs to create opportunities for children. Dr. Kindall currently serves as the School Based Mental Health Services Coordinator for the Arkansas Department of Education. She recently also took on the state coordination of Arkansas AWARE, a statewide program to advance wellness and resiliency in education. Her main focus is assisting districts in their development and maintenance of high quality school based mental health programs. She also serves as part of the School Based Health Center team for the state of Arkansas. Betsy holds a B.S. degree in Secondary Education, M.S.E. in Counseling and Leadership, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership.
